Friday 26th May marks Pink Shirt Day – it’s a day New Zealander’s Come together to stop bullying by coming together to celebrate diversity. It’s a day to make everyone feel safe in any environment no matter what age, gender, ethnicity and more.
The Planet Humanity Project is taking part in Pink Shirt Day to raise awareness for Anti-Bullying we will be wearing pink along with our Pink Shirt Day badges to show that we are against bullying in any environment.
If you are being bullied or someone you know is experiencing a form of bullying please speak out and reach out for help. Bullying comes in many forms and in many environments. To help you identify what bullying can be we have listed a few definitions below:
- Verbal Abuse in Schools, the community and/or working environments. For example name calling, teasing, verbal threats.
- Physical Abuse in Schools, the community and/or working environments.
- Threats in any form.
- Sexual Abuse
Plus many more descriptions. If you or someone you know are experiencing bullying in any form please speak up and tell someone, please reach out for help.
